Episode 2:  The State of Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) Today

On Sep 11, 2018

Michael Quiroga is one of the premier experts on unmanned aerial systems (UAS) or, as they are more commonly referred, drones, within the commercial space.  During his time as CEO of Intelligent Drone Systems, Michael worked with many of the leading developers of drone and artificial intelligence products in the UAS and counter- UAS arena.   Today he serves as Chief Revenue Officer of Asylon, the developer and manufacturer of the DroneCore System.  During the interview, Michael and I discuss the current state of unmanned aerial systems in the United States, including an overview of the changes in regulation that the current administration has implemented over the past year, allowing for the advancement of the technology into commercial markets.  In 2018 the education of the market is occurring, but as we discuss, 2019 looks to be “the year of the drone”.

The podcast introduces the DroneCore System, which is an integration of multiple technologies to create the most efficient autonomous UAS system on the market today.  DroneCore is the creation of Asylon, the Philadelphia based startup that is revolutionizing the industry.
